Ludi Lin is a Chinese-Canadian actor and model who portrays Kerwin Tan[1] one of the major recurring characters of The CW's Kung Fu.
Background[]
Lin’s interest in acting began from an early age, when he watched his mother’s performances from behind the curtains of a Chinese theater stage. Ironically, even though she urged him not to follow in her footsteps, he continued to pursue art and eventually became an actor himself.[2]
When it comes to his daily work-out routine, Lin mentioned how it usually starts very early, like four or five in the morning. This includes a lot of body weight exercises, a lot of stretching, punches and kicks focusing on rhythm. It might last two to four hours, depending on how much time he has that day. Lin further revealed that he likes to take his time because he really enjoys it. So he wants to make sure he feels every bit of pain, pleasure and adrenaline from the workout. As a result, this gets him ready for whatever might come his way during the day better than any cup of coffee.[2]
