Liang Daiyu is a legendary character mentioned in The CW's Kung Fu.
Biography[]
Early life[]
According to Henry, Liang lived many, many, years ago during the Tang Dynasty. According to the myth about her, when all the men in the village went off to war, a band of raiders attacked. Daiyu grabbed her grandfather’s sword name Sofyan, and single-handedly kept the raiders at bay. The next day, she began training the other women in the village. Pretty soon, they weren’t just protecting themselves and their homes, but turning the tide of the war.
In Guidance, it was revealed that she is in fact an ancestor of Nicky Shen and one of the first warriors in the bloodline.
Personality[]
Not much is known about Liang’s personality as the series long takes place after her death, but it’s common knowledge that warriors are brave and have an spark in their soul to keep fighting for a better tomorrow and protect valuable objects like the sword.
